Mr. Pierpont Morgan arrived at Oyster Bay in his steam yacht Corsair this afternoon and proceeded to Bagamore Hill, where he is con- forring with Mr. Boosevelt. It is stated that the subject of the conference is the Američan railway in China. The Peking Government wants to cancel the concession, making repayment of the1 money spent by the American syndicate, and Mr. Morgan was favourable to this plan. In the !course of his recent visit to Europo, however, King Leopold arranged a meeting with him off Dover, and, it is understood, strongly urged him to retain the concession.
